Chapter I · From Vision to Lodge
Utopia Lodge No. 27 traces its beginnings to the Prince Hall Masonic community of the Malton and Mississauga area. The Lodge's founding account—dates, names and wording—is currently under review by the Lodge Historian.

Freemasonry is a centuries-old fraternity that brings men together in the pursuit of character, fellowship, moral reflection and service.
BROTHERHOOD.
Men from different walks of life meet as equals and call one another Brother.
CHARACTER.
Its lessons invite a man to examine how he lives, serves, leads and treats others.
KNOWLEDGE.
Symbol, allegory and reflection are used to communicate moral ideas that reach beyond a single generation.
SERVICE.
Masonic principles are intended to be carried beyond the Lodge and into family, community and everyday life.

Prince Hall Freemasonry carries a profound history of fraternity, perseverance, equality, education and community service. Its story is part of the wider history of Freemasonry—and an important part of Black history in North America and Canada.

Utopia Lodge No. 27 is listed by the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge, Province of Ontario and Jurisdiction, as meeting in Mississauga on the second and fourth Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Lodges are currently listed as being in recess during July and August.
